China reopens

China’s abrupt reversal of its ‘covid-zero’ policy has resulted in a rapid reopening, although things will likely take up to 6 months to settle down.

As a happy and long-awaited result, we are able to resume China birding tours as of 2024, starting with:

China in Winter in January-February 2024

China’s Sichuan & Northern Yunnan in May-June 2024

Our other China tours will feature from 2025.
