PITCAIRN, HENDERSON & FRENCH POLYNESIA TOURS

We have just completed another two highly successful Pitcairn, Henderson & Tuamotus and French Polynesia tours on the expedition ship Braveheart. The French Polynesia cruise produced two Birdquest lifers, Marquesan Ground Dove and Marquesan Monarch.

The tours turned up every available Polynesian endemic bird along their routes, including such dream birds as the magical Tuamotu Sandpiper, Bristle-thighed Curlew, Henderson Crake, the extraordinary Marquesan Imperial Pigeon, Polynesian Imperial Pigeon, Henderson, Atoll, Makatea, White-capped and Grey-green Fruit Doves, Polynesian Ground Dove, Stephen's, Ultramarine and Blue Lorikeets, Marquesan, Niau (or Tuamotu), Tahiti and Moorea Kingfshers, and many more besides. Seabirding produced such special birds as Henderson, Murphy's, Phoenix, Collared and Juan Fernandez Petrels, Christmas Shearwater, Polynesian Storm Petrel, Blue and Grey Noddies, and Spectacled and Little White Terns.

We will be repeating both tours during the period October/November 2020 and you can sign up already, and be sure of your place, for an initial deposit of £200 (or €240 or $260). Please contact the Birdquest office.
