Our day at Cerro de San Juan was relatively quiet this year, though we did find the difficult Mexican Woodnymph, and found the other species elsewhere (Pete Morris)
And we found a few other new endemics such as this Spotted Wren (Pete Morris)
As usual, our visit to San Blas was superb. When we could tear ourselves away from the cuisine, we found some brilliant birds, such as this Citreoline Trogon (Pete Morris)
Once again, the spectacular and impressive Collared Forest-Falcon showed very well indeed (Pete Morris)
We were very fortunate to find two different obliging adult Bare-throated Tiger-Herons, both of which showed brilliantly (Pete Morris)
Not as spectacular by any means, the White-throated Flycatcher, one of (too?) many species of Empidonax seen on the tour, is at least uncommon and localized (Pete Morris)
Plenty of excellent Heermann's Gulls showed well on the beaches (Pete Morris)
And we found a few rosy-flushed migrant Franklin's Gulls (pictured here with a Laughing Gull) that were appreciated by all (Pete Morris)
And other more common species included this fishing Green Heron (Pete Morris)
On one afternoon/evening we took a boat trip from San Blas which was superb. Rufous-necked Wood-Rail showed well, and later, we saw many amazing Northern Potoos (Pete Morris)
