Mountain Caracara, Bolivia
The 2010 Bolivia tour was a huge success with many amazing experiences. One bird that we saw on many occasions was Mountain Caracara. The following pictures were all taken on the tour (Matt Denton).

In the afternoon we birded the very birdy Santa Cruz Botanical Garden where the vegetation such as this Tabebuia tree was also enjoyed (Michel Livet).
Masked Duck, Bolivia
In the morning we set off into the Andes where a small pond held several easily observed Masked Ducks (Matt Denton).
We then spent the rest of the morning birding this empty scenic road (Michel Livet).
Blue-crowned Parakeet, Bolivia
After some enjoyable birding near Samaipata we moved towards Comarapa where in the dry country we enjoyed this foothill form of Blue-crowned Parakeet (Matt Denton).
Bolivian Earthcreeper, Bolivia
Here in the canyonlands we also enjoyed the endemic Bolivian Earthcreeper (Matt Denton).

That afternoon we had great views of Red-fronted Macaw, and the next morning returned to the area seeing some Bolivian Blackbirds... (Matt Denton)
