Rock Firefinch Lagonosticta sanguinodorsalis: At least one pair was seen well in the Maroua area. Previously thought to be a Nigerian endemic, BirdQuest first confirmed the species presence in Cameroon at this same site in 2005. (Photo by tour participant Werner Mueller)
